Bad Bunny Sits Out American Music Awards 2020 after testing positive for COVID-19

Bad Bunny was forced to bail on his performance at Sunday night's (Nov. 22) 2020 American Music Awards after testing positive for COVID-19.

The singer had a busy week leading up to the revelation that he has joined the nearly 59 million other people around the world who've tested positive for coronavirus.

The Puerto Rican artist, whose “Dakiti” collaboration with Jhay Cortez currently tops Billboard’s Global 200 chart, won Favorite Male Latin artist and Favorite Latin album at the AMAs for his YHLQMDLG album.

Bad Bunny, who together with Cortez was slated to close the AMAs with “Dakiti,” had to cancel his performance after testing positive for COVID. Sending condolences to the star and hoping he gets better. Stay safe ya'll!
